1. Information we collect

We do not require sign-up. We only receive personal information if you choose to send it.

If you submit a prompt, we receive:

• Your name and email address
• The prompt title, description, full prompt text, and any negative prompt
• The AI tool, category, and topic you selected

That message is emailed to our team at [email protected] so we can review it. We do not use submissions for marketing.

2. How we use information

When you submit a prompt, we use the details you send to:

• Review whether it can be added to the public library
• Reply to you if we need a clarification
• Keep a record of the submission for that review

3. What stays on your device

Your browser may keep a local copy of preferences and activity on this site. Other visitors cannot see it. Clearing site data for this domain removes it.

• Theme preference (light or dark)
• Saved prompt IDs
• Recent searches and recently viewed prompts
• Copy counts on this device
• Whether you dismissed the install prompt

If you install the site as an app, your device may also cache pages and icons so the library can load faster or work offline.

4. Cookies and analytics

Codextroop Prompt Library uses local storage for the preferences above, not advertising cookies. We do not currently run a third-party analytics tracker. If that changes, this page will be updated.

5. Email delivery

Prompt submissions are sent using our email provider so the message can reach our inbox. That provider processes the content of your submission only to deliver it.

6. Third-party links

Pages may link out to AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, and image tools. Those sites have their own privacy policies. If a link is an affiliate link, it does not change which tools we list.

7. Data retention

Submission emails are kept only as long as needed to review them and, if we reply, to continue that conversation — or longer if the law requires it. Local storage stays on your device until you clear it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information you sent through the submit form, or to restrict how we use it. Email [email protected] and we will help.

9. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
